• The scored end acts as the handle and is marked with a colored tape
• PDSII (polydioxanone) Monofilament Synthetic Absorbable Suture is prepared from the polyester, poly (p-dioxanone)
• Polydioxanone polymer has been found to be non-antigenic, non-pyrogenic and elicits only a minor tissue reaction during absorption
